Wait, that’s the the right song for Bat Boy. Forget about it. Let’s send some postcards, have a nice dinner, and see a Broadway musical.
Monday November 3rd, 2025
Let’s start off the week with some postcards.

This first postcard is heading to Austria to someone who never put any information on their profile.
Most folks list types of cards they’re interested in, or topic suggestions to chat about.
In all fairness, they may have forgotten to complete their profile.
I forgot to note what I wrote about on this card.
This next postcard is one that comes with the bill at a local bar and grill named The Bonnie where we play trivia.

This one is going to my friend Tony in Michigan and on the other side of the card I share that I am trying to cut back on caffeine.
I switched to drinking coffee to get away from soda, and now that I’m drinking almost entirely coffee, it’s time to cut down on the caffeine. The battle continues.

Tonight Lauri and I are heading to a comedy show to see Romesh Ranganathan. He was on Taskmaster.
The show is in New Jersey, so we’ll have some time on the train from New York City. I’ll use that time to write a postcard to Tony about the show and also about books that are about getting old. Books written by folks like Romesh Ranganathan and Dick VanDyke.
I forgot to take pictures inside of the venue.

Fun show.

My notes say that I sent a Monticello postcard to India and chatted about Monticello being on the back of the nickel, but this is not a postcard from Monticello. This is a picture that Lauri took on one of the few trips she went camping with me.
Not one of the better camping trips as there were loud drunk people and it was also too cold.
Thanks to that trip, I make it a point to find the signs about how to reach out to the rangers if there are problems after-hours. Snap a quick pic and I’ll have that number if there are any issues. That photo is from 3+ years ago and I haven’t had that problem again since. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

Wait. My notes are correct.

This is the Monticello postcard that went to India.
That previous postcard likely went to Tony. Maybe I told him about the annoying loud people.
Tonight Lauri and I will have a nice dinner out.

Sunday November 9th, 2025
Speaking of a nice meal, once per day our three cats get wet food, and today for some reason Penny and Remus decided to eat wet food from the same dish. I have never seen this before or after this incident.

Tonight we have tickets to see Bat Boy on Broadway.
So I’ll send Tony a postcard about it and also suggest that we play more Project: Gorgon in the near future.

Under the postcard is the tin that I use to carry my stamps and postcards when I go out.
Here’s the venue’s Wi-Fi password, by the way.

A fun show. It reminds me of another show we watched recently. Teeth.
Good wholesome fun.
I mean, except for the twist.
If you know, you know.
And to finalize the week we have one last postcard.

This is a very nice postcard from the museum of natural history. I forgot to write down who I sent it to.
A mystery.
So let’s just make up a story about where it went instead.
This one was mailed to the international space station as I was selected from a pool of one-hundred-thousand postcard enthusiasts to send a card to the ISS.
On the back I only wrote “Hi. Lol.” because that, to me, is hilarious.
Cheers.
