My partner is out of town. I can play EverQuest. I have a bottle of whiskey. I’m sure I can talk Tony into playing EverQuest with me, as well.

Today my partner Lauri leaves for London and Paris.

Let’s shenanigans.

First things first, set up the laptop tray with cooling fans.

Next we break out the RPG book mouse pad.

Which is an EverQuest RPG book.

Why do I have so many pictures of this book?

And the final step.

Whiskey, coke and a friend to play EverQuest with.

Also, the copy of Daggerheart that I bought has arrived.

I thought the box would be more of a box than a sleeve.

I love the cards, though.

And these are in a box.

While I wait for Tony, I’ll play my alternate character in EverQuest, Nokog.

I’ll earn some money, and toss it into the bank so we can buy some nice stuff later.

Penny has joined in on the fun.

The whiskey and EverQuest are doing their job.

I have a postcard that I received from a postcrossing user that I will send to to my friend Tony in Michigan.

This postcard is from Cygak.

I tell Tony “This looks like a nice place.” and “Thanks for playing EverQuest with me.”

I feel like I’m missing pictures from the last several days.

Lauri has returned from Europe and I am cat sitting for a friend.

Their cat is very shy, but will also knock things over if left alone, and so I am cat sitting.

I feed the shy cat and play EverQuest all night with Tony.

I gain three levels.

Also there’s a left-handed theremin here.

I document the cat visits on a postcard which I plan to mail to the friends, but instead I forget it at their apartment.

So they still get the card, but just not in the mail.

Today we are visiting Socrates Sculpture Park to have a picnic lunch and I am also bringing my copy of Wreck This Journal which is nearly complete.

Today’s journal wrecking adventure is drawing lines using abnormal writing utensils dipped in paint.

I found a stick.

It has been a calm couple of weeks filled with cats and EverQuest.

Not a bad life.
