Brr. It’s a chilly one today.
This week is off to a good start. Yesterday, Monday the 12th, started off with a nice postcard being sent to Finland through Postcrossing.

This is an old picture of Morrill Hall in Lincoln, Nebraska. A fantastic museum if you’re ever there.
In the card I shared a story about the time I was playing an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) called Alamoasis and during one phase of the game we found ourselves navigating a computer using Microsoft DOS. Luckily this is an operating system that I still remember how to use which was a great boon for my team on this day.
I still have the floppy disk prize from this contest, though I do not have a way to read the data on it.
As for the postcard my partner Lauri was kind enough to deliver it for me on this morning.

After this I spent the morning reading and taking notes on how to play the pen & paper RPG Goblin Errands.

One issue you may notice with my notebook is that I am using it upside down.

It is a Japanese notebook and only one side of the page is lined and so to keep the lines on the right side I flipped the book and used a sticker to label it in hopes this will make it clear which way to open it.

First rock of three.
My ant farm has one remaining ant.
His name is Antony.
I think he is having trouble keeping the place tidy by himself as the tunnels have begun to collapse.
I added more moisture in hopes that this would allow for more stability to be added, but I think it may just be too much for poor Antony and so I placed a small rock inside of his home to make one of the access tubes a bit easier to reach.

Also got a bit of cleaning done last week. I gathered a handful of t-shirts and button-up shirts that I do not wear very often.
Lauri was kind enough to post these items as well as others in our local neighborhood buy nothing group.

All of these items have a new home, now and I have more drawer and shelf space.
I really love that Hello Kitty cookie jar, but we never used it. Time to pass it on.
The RPG book that I have been waiting to arrive in the mail is now in my home.

This was purchased on drivethrurpg.com which has a fantastic print-on-demand system. I wanted to really get into this and learn the system, but I had a bit of brain-fry from reading the other RPG book all morning.
I look forward to trying out a solo RPG as I have never tried this before.
More rocks!

We painted these and then returned them to their natural habitat.
Next to an apartment sidewalk.
This was a fun craft.
I wonder if I could turn one into a postcard for Tony?

Penny says “Zzzzzz.”
