Sunday February 11th, 10:29 pm. Austin, Texas. โ๏ธ Cloudy 44ยฐ F (7ยฐ C).
First. Windmills don’t necessarily need to be for milling.
This is a topic that came up yesterday that we looked into today.
Second. I forgot to mention that I ate a chicken heart yesterday.
The first time is always rough for something new like this especially since I don’t eat much meat, but it’s not bad. The texture threw me off, and I only had one, but I think after a few more tries that this would be something that I enjoy.
I did not partake of the shrimp, pig feet or pork ears.
Today, though.
We went bowling with Mary & Jesse.

Lauri did bowling poses.

It was a lovely time and I won twice, but to be fair Mary had a lot of great rounds and Jesse tried bowling left-handed in the second game.
Lauri just talked a bunch of trash and grabbed like eight red bowling balls for some reason.
I hear that Highland Lanes is closing in a few months so I’m glad we came.
After bowling we visited the following stores: Emerald Tavern & Tanuki Games.

Picked up this little gem at Tanuki.
Next up on the shopping run was 99 Ranch Market where I bought a gallon of coffee candy.

Then we went to Kinokuniya where I got a new pen and then Daiso where I bought some stickers and Washi tape.
We next drove to World Market and then to Borderless European Market and purchased a handful of food items.

This stuff is pretty nice.

Basically a cookie with sweet milk filling.
I like it.
Oh! I forgot to mention another item from 99 Ranch Market that I grabbed.

Onion Watermelon Cake.
The onion and sugar are clear in this dish, but I can’t taste the Watermelon.

A sugary pastry filled with a lot of onions is interesting.
Upon returning home the cards that I have ordered for Mythic (a RPG book designed to play pen & paper rpgs alone) arrived.
I purchased this and a physical copy of Mythic second edition off of drivethrurpg.com and I had to order them separately since they’re print-to-order at two separate locations.
I feel like they could just like tell the other places about the order or automate the system to do this for them, but what do I know.
I’m always excited that they make it so easy to order physical copies of indie RPGs and cards and so I will happily cope with one teeny tiny frustration.
The book should arrive tomorrow.

I also scooped up a demo of an upcoming strategy RPG on PC called Sword of Convallaria and I am in love.
This is giving me Suikoden & Final Fantasy Tactics vibes with a bit of gatcha.
The game is a bit complex and I don’t know if my love will last. Gatcha games make me nervous, but so far I’m completely hooked and I really want to see where this game is going.
It has been a lovely day and I hope that yours has been lovely too.
Cheers.

Penny says “Hi.”
Edit:
1. I won a small toy at a store who’s name I do not remember.

2. Here’s a picture Lauri took of me bowling.
