I am up late. We played games with some delightful folks tonight.

Power Grid.

That famous tabletop game from Germany.

Buy power plants. Purchase resources. Connect communities. Profit.

We had a great time but it ran a bit late.

My strawberry smoosh from yesterday has dried out and the Wreck This Journal is another step closer to completion.

I went through my adventure ideas list today which currently has eighty-three items on it and I highlighted ones that would be a good fit for the near future.

When the list becomes too long it can become daunting and by picking a few items from the list it becomes like a mini list.

It is now something that is more manageable and I have added extra items that lead to some of the larger goals.

Speaking of prep, Lauri and I will be camping soon.

Today I purchased firewood, but it is not good form to pick up kindling at a state park.

In fact it is blatantly against the rules.

Or law.

I don’t really know.

I gathered some sticks from around my apartment complex, but they are wet from three days of rain so my bag of sticks is now sitting in front of my apartment drying out.

It is late. I am in bed. Not cat pics, but I assure you that they all say “Hi.”
