๐Ÿงป New Year, New Journals and a Roll of Toilet Paper

Monday January 1st, 2024.

My pal Tony has recently sent me the most hilarious postcard. A postcard of an unknown family’s Christmas cheer.

I am a competitive man and so I need to turn up my postcard game and this is the result.

Diameter measured to compare before and after the post office’s handling of this item.

You may recall that I sent a wooden postcard to Tony, but I am afraid that it did not survive intact.

and thus I do not expect this card to arrive fully plumped.

“Fully plumped.”

I am excited at the chance to say this pair of words together.

Best of luck, cylindrical postcard.

Note the $1 stamp placed on this roll in hopes of seeking the favor of the mail room team.

Also because this is the first day of the new year I have prepared a stack of journals that I am hoping to update daily.

I did choose to leave one out for being too similar to another.

Remember that time Lauri and I watercolored postcards only to discover that these were meant for colored pencils instead?

Well, my friend, on this day one was addressed to and mailed to my dear friend Tony.

Why do I love sending dumb but creative things to Tony?

And why does Tony enjoy receiving them?

I assure you, I have asked if I should stop, but he does enjoy them.

Penny says “The Bourgeoisie is eroding the values that our grandparents fought to put in place for our protection.”

What?
