๐Ÿ™๐Ÿšฃ Inks Lake State Park & Tony Got Me Back

January 6th Karnack Texas, I am currently camping in the cold without a sleeping bag or pillows, but while I am under blankets I’d like to catch up the blog a bit, so let’s discuss December 30th and the visit that Lauri & I made to Inks Lake State Park.

The plan was to take Lauri to my favorite Texas State Park that I’ve visited, so far and to enjoy one of the events hosted by the park rangers.

Unfortunately it seems that a. this was an event for children and b. it was a middle part of a multi-event thing.

So we decided to hike.

And then we changed our mind and decided to canoe. Or kayak.

After a bit of discussion we landed on paddle boating.

We watched turtles & fish & we chased ducks.

It was a grand event!

And then I sasquatched.

We then hiked around for a bit.

I jumped on rock.

I was laughed at for this.

It was a delightful visit, but we left the park hungry and after a bit of research we found a burger joint that had a boat dock.

Folks would ride their boats over for a bite to eat.

As you may be aware I send my pal Tony silly postcards.

Usually ones made out of boxes of food or event invite fliers I find at libraries. I also send oversized and weird postcards that I find as well and this was the day that Tony got me back.

Behold the family Christmas card (names removed) sent to me by Tony.

I have no idea who these people are.

Neither did Tony.

Hilarious.

I died.

I did ask if Tony still had their address so I could send them a card and complete the circle, but that item has been lost to time.

Merry Christmas random family.

(I am away from home at the moment. No cats to photo saying “Hello.” today. Apologies.)
