April Fools! 1960s Style

Saturday October 7th 8:53 am 62ยฐ F (17ยฐC) Austin, Texas

First day at home alone for the next four weeks and I have officially begun the Rubik’s jigsaw puzzle.

I haven’t fully decoded the pattern yet, but I have completed about 10% of the puzzle so far. I’m still in the process of sorting the various pieces, but the border is done.

Stamps! It costs $1.50 to send a postcard internationally and to help the stamp collectors on postcrossing I have purchased a set of three stamps that total $1.50 rather than to use the round stamps.

For this round I have a $1 stamp, a 40ยข stamp and a 10ยข stamp.

I traveled to visit a friend in Michigan recently and while there I purchased an activity book from the 1960s and one of the April fools jokes I played on my wife. She wrote down a secret message, crumpled it up, tossed it into the air and then stepped on it and I successfully told her what was on her note.

Her foot.

And then there’s this book. I doodled in here a bit.

Keanu says “Hi.”
