๐ŸŽƒ Halloween Treats & Video Games

Austin, Texas. 8:51 am, ๐ŸŒฅ๏ธ 78ยฐ F (25.5ยฐ C).

Disgaea 7 released yesterday and I’ve already got about 5 or 6 hours of play time in this game.

One of my adventure goals is to beat a video game. Ever since switching to PC gaming, partially due to the difficulty in finding a PS5 or XB1 to purchase, I have found it hard to stay focused on a single game.

It seems that the act of putting a game disc into a console helps keep the focus on one game since it’s not as easy to swap games.

There’s also the topic of reselling used games. I struggle with this aspect of PC gaming and it’s why I held out so long, but I digress.

Disgaea 7 is out and I’m having a good time and I look forward to beating this game.

Another adventure goal is to create a Halloween tradition with my partner.

This week Lauri will be leaving the county for work and will (probably) be gone for about 4 weeks, so she will not be here for Halloween and her idea for a fun tradition is to decorate a spooky cake. We’re a bit competitive so the images were shared on social media and our friends were asked to vote.

If we remove the “I vote against Levi’s side” tallies then I win, otherwise Lauri has a single vote lead on me.

There were also delightfully delicious mummy dogs.

I look forward to eating more of these today. ๐Ÿคค

As my wife does not enjoy road trips and is occasionally subject to car sickness I plan on taking a few mini trips while she is away. I have mapped state and national parks here in texas and am searching for interesting events that may also be taking place.

I wonder if I have any local friends that I could talk into going on a weekend road trip.

I am hoping to bring the tent to extend the distance of at least one of these weekend adventures.

Wish me luck! ๐Ÿ€

Bed is made, teeth are brushed, Keanu says “Hi.”

Back to video games.
