๐Ÿš— Michigan Pt. 2

Tony

Being cool.

We purchased a doll head to launch in a homemade catapult.

We spent around two hours making this contraption and argued about the best ways to use materials on hand.

For example we used two zip ties in a loop to stop the catapult. This allowed us to tighten it down until we found the sweet spot for the launching arm to halt its movement.

The zip ties failed after about two launches. I’ve never had a zip tie’s grip fail before, but I suppose a catapult would be the way to do it.

Our best launch was about twelve feet in distance.

The journal wreckoning continued!

We also shared in some 80s pizza. ๐Ÿ•

We walked the dog.

We also walked the book.

We explored a four-story bookstore that recently became popular over a story about this place being haunted.

While looking through books and turning on lights so that I could see, I believe that I upset some ghost hunters. ๐Ÿ‘ป

Oops.

We then ate phallic fried cauliflower.

This evening we tried our S’lesses. They’re like S’mores, except not gross.

Tony chewed on the journal.

The next day more journal was to be wrecked.

The dog’s moustache knows what we did.

So we went to Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum.

Those ghost hunters probably should have come here.

It was a wonderful visit, except for the fake magnets on the back of the dry erase board.

The flight back to Austin was full, but easy. This time I brought a phone charger and kept my phone plugged in during the flight.

The trip to Michigan was a success and full of all kinds of silliness. Just the right kind of fun for a couple of besties to do dumb things.

Eli says “Goodbye.”

Proud, kind and full of purrs.

“Eliiiiii Jeeeeenkins!”

Beloved friend. 2010 – 2023
