Draw Outside of The Lines

Good morning from Austin Texas at 8:44 am on Thursday September 7th. It is currently 79ยฐ F (26ยฐ C) and sunny โ˜€๏ธ.

Yesterday I tried out some new markers that my partner bought for me on a page in Wreck This Journal where the goal is to color outside of the lines.

You may have noticed at about the 10 o’clock position of this circle that a bit of marker has gone inside of the ring, but I propose that because this was a black marker and not a color that I shall not be penalized.

This was truly doodling. I had no idea what I was trying to make at every step of this activity, but I am pleased with the final result.

A new postcard was received in the mail from Ukraine. From Kyiv, no less.

I am thankful that this card was able to complete its journey.

I am just now realizing that I am getting my days mixed up and that I have already shared the doodle.

After double checking my notes I see that the other activity from yesterday was sending a postcard to Czechia.

The user requested landscapes or cityscapes, but this was the closest that I had in my 200+ card arsenal.

This is a building here in Austin Texas that is still standing and this is an old postcard depicting this building. I have added to my adventure list that I should visit this place sometime. I’ve driven past it countless times, but I do not know what the inside looks like.

One other note. This user has requested that cards from the US not use the round global stamps, which is what I usually use. I’ve been meaning to buy more stamps to address this issue of sending cards with postage that is more unique, but it is not at the top of my priorities, yet. I still have about 20 stamps to get through before I need to make another purchase.

Antony says “Hi.”
