Sunday August 13 – Austin, Texas – ⛅ 99° F (37.2° C)

Tomorrow we travel, but today we check the mail. Today an eBay purchase has arrived. I ordered 300 random stickers and here are a few of my favorites.

Several of these stickers are poorly cut and many are crude, but there are enough good ones in here that I am satisfied with this purchase.

The sticker of my name was immediately placed onto my laptop.

Also of note; my local Walgreens has a fantastic selection of postcards at reasonable prices. I had no idea. If I didn’t currently own over 200 I would likely purchase some of these.

One last item of note is this Choose Your Own Adventure novel.

I died in a cage.

Off to bed early for me as I must wake at around two in the morning for a flight to Utah & birthday adventures!

The only solid plans are skydiving and visiting a cave at a national park.

I have gathered a list of items that seem fun to select from while we are away.

This way we’re not coming in with ni plans, but we also are not stuck to a pre-planned visit with no room for changes.

What if it rains? What if we’re extra tired? What if Thomas Haden Church needs me to be a body double in his upcoming film? What if we run into problems with the rental car?

Time will tell and I will report back tomorrow.
