It is a lazy Saturday afternoon, my friends. 3:53 pmโ๏ธ103 F (39.4 C)

Today I received my sixth postcard from abroad from another member of postcrossing.com.
It is a lovely postcard and it came with a delightful message about traveling in the area.
As always my map (by city) of sent & received poscards can be found here: https://rb.gy/ul0z9
As it is a lazy Saturday I have played a little bit of Baldur’s Gate 3 and doodled a little bit in the drawing journal book.

Drawing a kaleidoscope image is tricky, but fun. The ink blot doodles were a lot of fun. Highly suggest.
In the coming days I am hoping to visit some national parks and gather some stickers and stamps for that book.
Here’s a question that I’m debating with myself on this topic, though.
Would it be best to look up the park in advance to potentially find an interesting event happening or would it be best to show up blind with the possibility of a surprise to be found here?
Maybe I’ll look up just one. ๐ค๐ญ

Keanu says “Hi.”
Edit: I forgot about the other thing in the mail:
While researching my own city for little adventures to have around town I ran into a website that offered to ship a travel guide. Today this has arrived. I have not yet had a moment to look it over, but I am delighted to have received it.
When I was a child we were very poor and one of my favorite free things to do was to visit the library and borrow The Catalog of Catalogs and order free catalogs.
Because I was twelve I mostly ordered catalogs for magic shops. It was a lot of fun to look through the items in those books and imagine owning them. As an adult I can say that “flash guns” are amazing. (These are the devices that magicians use to shoot fire from their hands).

Also my wife made me a delicious patty melt sandwich while I was posting this.
Delightful. ๐
