Hello from Austin, Texas. It was a good day on Sunday the 30th leading into Monday morning and I have a handful of small adventures to share.

Coffee is running a bit low this morning which means I must soon decide whether to buy the nice coffee again or to try to work my way through other coffee we have in the apartment. I know the answer is to get through the other coffee, but I really like this brand/style.

But for today, all is well on the coffee front.

Pencil rubbings? Sounds great. I’ll just get down the change jar and voila!

I was able to add a few more Ws to the collection last night as well, though I see that I did not take a good picture as evidence. This one is not marked complete so more pictures will be forthcoming.

Lines page complete. If you notice that on the third line the color changes, this is because I snapped the tip of a pencil when making this line. I pressed TOO hard.

And finally on this beautiful Monday (7/31/23) morning I have sent another postcard. Two of my sent postcards have arrived so I will be able to send another tomorrow morning.

This card is being sent to China to a basketball fan. The card was a bit glossy and also I printed the address in Chinese per the receiver’s instructions, but due to these two factors I would normally cover the entire back of the card in box tape. 1. To keep the ink from smearing and 2. to protect the printed address.

The address is safe and about half of the message. I do not know if all of the stickers will still be attached by the time it arrives, though.
