Too sweaty. Just wanted to do a little bit of Explore Every Day (one of the challenge books I’m working on) and I went to clean a part of my neighborhood. The mail room at my apartment complex has been particularly dusty and cobwebby lately, so I figured this was the right place to go.

Before shot.

After.
I really should have taken more pictures as the lack of cobwebs is the most drastic change.

I also took a moment to clean the stairs and front porch… Which sent a ton of debris down to the first floor which I also swept up because I am not a monster.

While at the front mail area I stopped by for a quick visit to Sutron (backstory for Sutron here).
I see that Sutron has either stopped stealing electricity or has become better at disguising the act. Well done Sutron, and may I say you’re looking extra photosynthesized this morning.

Another Explore Every Day adventure is to take a commonly prepared meal and substitute an item. I often have am egg sandwich for breakfast on an English muffin. Today I tried this on honey wheat bread. A nice change of pace.

Remember the Wreck This Journal compost a page challenge?
It appears to be moving along nicely. I’m hoping to have a partially decomposed page by the end of it. I do plan to dry out the page and return it to the book. Well… Whatever is left, that is.

There is also the Wreck This Journal grocery list page doing it’s job to remind me to buy box tape. Thank you Journal.

Eli was quite concerned about me. Partially due to the mysterious sounds outside (it was me sweeping the front porch) and because I was so sweaty. He is now cuddled up next to me on the couch… And now there’s another cat making noises…
That’s Keanu’s “look at what I hunted” sound. I bet she’s dragging around a trophy kill toy.

Apologies. I have become distracted. Here is a closeup of the decomposition of the page.

And this is just a picture that I am uploading of myself to share with coworkers as we were discussing 80s looks yesterday.
Time to go mark off these challenges from the Google sheet!
Progress, my friends.
Every day is an adventure.
