In the copy of Wreck This Journal Everywhere that I completed previously this page was one of the last ones that I completed and I felt like I had cheated.
I wasn’t very good at composting, it turns out, but I also had not left myself enough time to learn.
While preparing my morning coffee (Alma brand natural processes coffee) I remembered this page.
I had saved and cleaned a discarded Miracle Whip container the night before for just this purpose!

Today I would save my coffee grounds and begin the compost!
And then I dumped my coffee grounds into the garbage.
Habits are heard to break.
I scooped as much out as I was comfortable with. This involved dodging “icky” garbage and trying not to get burned on fresh coffee grounds.

I didn’t rescue much. Maybe enough to fill a Gatorade bottle cap, so I resorted to using frozen vegetable scraps to get this composting started (not pictured here)
I’ve been slow with Wreck This Journal this week and I have over one-hundred pages to complete so there should be plenty of time to complete this challenge.
Daily Challenges

Another topic that I have chosen to focus on is learning Japanese with DuoLingo. I have set a goal for myself to get the badges that require the completion of 30+ challenges every month. If I can complete 2 on most days of the month this will not be an issue.
I am happy to say that I am twelve points past my goal for July, but I still try to get two completed every day.
Typewriters Are Hard To Fix

Clutch and belt appear to have gone bad. Well, the belt is 100% worn out beyond use, but the clutch is harder for me to tell as I wasn’t able to see it in action and I had to resort to YouTube videos.
This is an electric typewriter that I have been tasked with repairing. Next step is to look for replacement parts.
Thursday night is pen & paper RPG night and I must now return to finishing the team’s adventure for the evening. There are a lot of skulls and flasks in this mission… Hmm.
