Here is the McNeil forbidden post office complete with its own forbidden post office delivery box.
Getting here feels like you’re driving into a construction site that you’re not supposed to be in.
This location also doubles as a convenience store filled with horror memorabilia.
This place feels as though it is frozen in time.
Unfortunately there was no one with the post office during my visit. I don’t know if they were late or had the day off. (This visit was on a Saturday morning).
This building is only open between two and four hours a day which I’m guessing has led to some P.O. box frustrations, judging by this sign.
It was an interesting place to visit but after thirty minutes no post office worker ever appeared.
And so I visited a non-forbidden post office delivery box.
Random fact: this postcard is being mailed to about a block from where this box is located at.
