Why Can’t I Make A Blanket Fort?

Two days ago I drew a card from the side quest deck and got “No Social Media Day” and since I had already been on social media that day and also because I really don’t want to do that card I drew another which was the “Build A Blanket Fort” card.

This is not a difficult card, but I have been procrastinating like crazy. Something about this adventure has my mind putting up a mental block.

I almost completed it when my partner was laying in the ground and saying she didn’t want to get up, because I thought it would be funny to build the fort around her, but then she got up and we ran errands. Today is day 3 of sitting on this incomplete quest.

I do have another book by Lonely Planet that should be arriving soon with more micro-adventures. It seems more in line with small quests that do not need to be preplanned like the Everyday Adventures book which can be difficult due to time, planning or costs.

One last item: I sent a postcard to Svalbard last night.

The address was very short and it feels like this could cause issues getting it to its new home, but I triple checked the address and it is correct. I did request an email response on the letter, but we shall see, I suppose.

This send is unrelated to postcrossing.com, but I marked it on my map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1rwg-w0kLYkVpb1QtEYuuFX7ZMY3kPUQ&ll=21.93126963410791%2C41.68187600000002&z=3
