Vietnamese Food, TTRPGs & The Draw While Moving Page of WTJ

V for Vietnam is now completed in the weekly Food From Every Letter of The Alphabet challenge. Twenty-one letters remain.

This is a restaurant with large portions and a do-it-yourself sort of customer experience.

For example you seat yourself and you do not get a check brought to your table. This took a little bit of getting used to for me, but the food is fantastic and also fast.

I had the Ga Ngu Vi – Five Spice Chicken.

Savory baked dark meat chicken thigh marinated in five spices.

I cannot begin to describe how fantastic this dish was. The portion size was far too large for one person, but I tried to push through. It was difficult to stop eating. The sauce on the side is a delicious delight and I kept adding more rice and sauce to my plate. We were trying to save room for desert, but there was no way that was going to happen.

After some recovery time we went grocery shopping and I completed a double page of Wreck This Journal.

Here we have the draw while in motion challenge and… It’s a perfectly reasonable ninja day and pirate day party for ghosts and their pets.

As for the table-top role playing game mentioned in the title, we spent two hours at Genuine Joe’s coffee shop writing and working on things. I spent my time working on my gaming team’s next adventure in the purgatory weird West.

I’m looking forward to the next session and also pushed the game back a week due to a concert and this gives me more time to have some fun with this one. I would love to tell you the ideas I’m kicking around, but my lovely wife reads these posts and I wouldn’t want to spoil anything for her. I can say the adventure is called The Gunslinger’s Crypt. I think this will be a good one.

Also here’s a thing I saw at the store that made me smile.
