Woo hoo! On my lunch break at the moment, but Wreck This Journal Everywhere is now done!
I do plan on slapping more box tape onto the book to help preserve it’s destruction. I’d hate for it to be destroyed…
Let’s not talk about that last paragraph ever again.
I have some items like the little post it notes that I was using as tracking/book marks that I want to cover up because they will fall out if not fastened in. I’ll make another pass at the book to cover any sticky spots that make the book complicated, though I think most of those have already been taken care of.
So. Let’s discuss the last items that are now complete.
Compost This Page – Wreck This Journal
So let’s be frank here. I did not do a good job of composting this, but I did learn how not to compost thanks to this experience. I could have taken the page and deposited it into one of the compost bins in front of a neighbor’s home, but that’s lazy. Easy. Less fun. So I did it the way that I did it.
If I could do it again this would be one of the first pages I attempted. I’d have also prepared a wetter spot for this decomposition to set in. Perhaps I would have placed food scraps into an airtight container and placed this container outside and under a plant or shelf or something.
I was able to keep the page which shows some wear and tear from its excursion, and that is enough for me.
Litter Notes

Okay, so this isn’t exactly litter, but I still felt awful leaving pieces of paper in places where little pieces of paper shouldn’t be left behind unattended.
As you can see I went ahead and placed the last two together to just push trough this page. It’s done. I don’t have to do any more and I kept my mess to a minimum.
Birds!

Didn’t see any birds on my trip to the mailbox today, but not only is a. this page now complete, but also b. I can’t draw a bird to save my life. So consider this page wrecked with bad drawings. Success.
Left to do: finalize the book by fastening down any remaining loose bits and then debating doing a flip through and then changing my mind because I’ve been documenting this book for a long time now. I’ll probably gather some highlights of my favorite moments and add a few pics that aren’t on this site as I was nearly complete by the time I rented this domain name.
New plans are to dig out some old project books to get going again and also to search for new websites and/or books to work with. I do have another Wreck This Journal (with two pages completed by the previous owner), but I think I would like a little bit of downtime before jumping back in…
Or maybe I’ll want to jump right back in.
I would like to have a video game focus as well. I recently purchased LEGO Worlds for like the fourth or fifth time and I always enjoy a good round of that game. I think I may try to see how many trophies I can knock out for this game in July.
I am at my post card maximum until the next wave is marked as received, but I suspect more will arrive soon. I have been sending them a day or two apart, so I would guess there’s not much of a gap between their arrival dates.
