The Scoreboard.

Thank you everyone who originally worked on this. Here’s the original document:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Hs3otgaeRz1C0V9348V48SZp3FpJXmHWQwObxenYK8U/edit#gid=1969608418

I can not recreate the symbol conversion and believe it is incorrect.

I wasn’t around when the scoreboard was first deciphered and even though I have access to the final message there are left over “bits” that don’t seem to make sense.
I will document the process here.
—————————————————————————-
I count 29 different states that the scoreboard is in at different times in the video before it repeats. Most of the states are very slight changes that don’t seem to mean anything, but it’s worth noting.
One of the strange things I’ve noticed while playing with making the scoreboard states with graphics instead of text is that it seems like the colon, semicolon and comma shouldn’t be possible on the type of display. The colon may be possible, but the semicolon and comma seem to go below where text is possible. :/

State 11 recreation

These seem to be the 2 main screens. Now to apply the ceaser cipher and figure out what’s missing, wrong or extra.

Looks like the partial characters can be counted on. Image below.

Working on what I think the completed scoreboard should be, needed to know which key to light up. No gate info on the website scoreboard.

There is room for 4 full characters in the Rank column. The only time the 1st character is needed is to fit “10th” and the “1” doesn’t need a full character to do that. Probably nothing, but noted anyway.

What i believe the scoreboard should look like (if it were referencing the book.)

Using this as reference:

Some information doesn’t seem to fit

Art3mis is pushed to the right. The extra numbers “555567” and “6698” appear.

Just realized this frame I’m using is right when the key switches from green to blue, which matches the part of the book this would be from.ย
You can get the same scoreboard info from the state before this one. Only difference is it’s on green/middle key

Extra numbers that don’t seem to fit.

Note that there is room for the keys on the website scoreboard, but no spot for gates. This likely reflects a change made for the movie.

Oh, some characters on the screen are impossible, btw. I believe this is State 17. Notice the semi-colons. They go outside of the writable area. Clue?
